· Manage and lead all aspects of projects ranging from 1-5 year timelines and $5 million - $100 million budgets including preparing estimates and budgetary forecasts, managing consultants and contractor and track costs and progress
· Identify and mitigate project risks
· Manage projects portfolio for successful completion and ensure preparedness for future projects
· Collaborate with the internal teams to ensure projects will achieve unimpeded and complete cost recovery

In this role, the Permitting Specialist will lead the permitting efforts for new transmission projects with federal, state and local agencies to allow for the construction of transmission projects needed to deliver reliable, cost-effective and environmentally responsible electricity to our customers and communities.

Some examples of those activities will include:
· Manage the renewable generation portfolio including wind generation assets, purchased power agreements, solar farms and may include additional assets in the future.
· Contribute to meeting safety goals by ensuring safe working behaviors and environment
· Effectively manage budgets to meet expense and capital targets
· Create 5-year capital planning for renewable generation
· Develop careers of direct reports and ensure they are developing and supporting their direct reports’ skills and career goals
