Chris Waltz, C.E.M.

Sales Manager

Chris Waltz joined Otter Tail Power Company in 2015 and currently serves as Sales Manager. Chris has a strong background in energy policy, business operations, and contracting with more than 15 years of experience in the electric utility industry and private consulting.

In his role, Chris leads a dedicated team focused on implementing demand-side management programs and economic, community, and business development efforts. 

He holds a Master of Science degree in science, technology, and environmental policy with an emphasis on energy policy from the University of Minnesota's Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs, a Bachelor of Science degree in wildlife management from the University of Minnesota Crookston, and is a Certified Energy Manager through the Association of Energy Engineers.
