Mark Bring

Director, Public Policy and Government Affairs

Mark Bring was named Director, Public Policy and Government Affairs, in September 2020. Mark joined Otter Tail Corporation, Otter Tail Power Company's parent organization, in 2006 and provided legal counsel as well as legislative affairs leadership to Otter Tail Power until taking on his current role. 

A native of Galesburg, North Dakota, Mark earned his Bachelor of Arts in political science from Minnesota State University Moorhead and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law, with distinction and Order of the Coif honors. He also earned a Master of Laws degree from Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, D.C.

Mark is a member of the Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota State Bar Associations and is a registered lobbyist in Minnesota and North Dakota. He serves on the board of directors of The Title Team, formerly known as The North Dakota Guaranty & Title Company, a Bismarck, North Dakota-based title company that operates in Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Mark is also active in numerous business and industry trade associations, including as a board member, has served on a local school board, and has served on the boards of several charitable nonprofit organizations, including as chair.
