Timothy Rogelstad

President

Tim Rogelstad was named President of Otter Tail Power Company in April 2014. He also serves on the executive team of Otter Tail Corporation, Otter Tail Power’s parent organization, as Senior Vice President, Electric Platform.

Tim joined our company in 1989 as an Engineer in the System Engineering Department. He advanced in 1992 to Transmission Planning Engineer in the System Planning Department, in 1998 to Supervisor, Transmission Planning, and in 2000 to Manager, Transmission Planning, which later became Delivery Planning. In December 2012 Tim was named Vice President, Asset Management, and was the executive in charge of delivery planning, delivery maintenance, delivery engineering, system operations, and project management.

A native of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, Tim earned his Bachelor of Science in electrical and electronics engineering in 1989 from North Dakota State University. He participated in the University of Chicago's Advanced Management Program and is also a graduate of the University of Idaho’s Utility Executive Course.

Professionally, Tim has participated in numerous industry boards and working groups. His community involvement includes Rotary and his church's Mission Team, Church Council, and Sunday school.
