Frost Causing Downed Or Low-hanging Power Lines

Frost on power lines in North Dakota has resulted in outages for hundreds of Otter Tail Power Company’s customers. With ongoing ice and frost, and wind picking up, customers may continue to experience intermittent outages over the next few days

Areas primarily affected are west and southwest of Jamestown, as well as communities in and around Devils Lake and Rugby. “We appreciate our customers’ patience as we work as safely and quickly as we can to restore power in less-than-ideal weather conditions,” said Area Manager Jeremy Rham. “And, importantly, please remember to stay away from downed or low-hanging power lines.”
